Foundation Burundikids Switzerland

Founding

The burundikids Switzerland Foundation was founded in 2008 by Verena Zintzmeyer and Thomas Egloff. The trigger was a visit to her daughter, who worked for the UN in Burundi. Seriously affected by poverty there, they wanted to make a difference. Founded Foundation is a non-profit nature, politically and religiously independent.

Purpose and goal

The foundation aims to support founded in Burundi in 1999 charity Fondation Stamm with donations, expertise, public relations and as a reliable partner in Switzerland.

The aim is to give war orphans, street children and the population of Burundi a chance for a future worth living. The burundikids Switzerland Foundation is a nonprofit, denominational and politically independent foundation.
